DEARBORN, Mich. — American cars are still popular in South America. Ford's Fusion sedan, which went on sale in Brazil, is the midsize segment leader. Now, Dearborn hopes to capitalize on that success by exporting the midsize Edge crossover vehicle to Brazil later this year.
Ford still gets a warm fuzzy feeling from Brazilians and wants to capitalize on the sales of some of its other products, it amazing that the Japanese haven't replicated the incredible image building that they have in North America.Thursday, January 17, 2008
