DETROIT -- Senior executives at General Motors and Ford Motor Co. have discussed a merger or alliance, according to several sources familiar with the talks.
This is at the least interesting, but exactly how would a merger
benefit these two companies. It seems a move like this would
only present short term benefits. In the long term Both Ford
and GM should stay the course and get their respective houses
in order.
